Can my employees really submit a report completely anonymously?

Yes. The reporting form does not require a name, email address, or any identifying information. Employees who choose to remain anonymous simply leave those fields blank. Their IP address is not stored or logged. The submission generates a reference number they can use to follow up, but nothing connects the report to their identity unless they choose to share it.
Will my employees know the portal belongs to my business?

The portal is hosted on the HJB Forensics website — not on your business website — which gives employees confidence that it is a neutral, third-party channel. The portal will show your business name at the top of the form so employees know which employer they are reporting about, but the form itself is operated by HJB Forensics, not by you. This is important for employee trust.
What do I get when a tip comes in?

You receive an email immediately containing the full tip submission — the business name, the fraud categories selected, a detailed description of what the employee observed, dates and dollar amounts if provided, any attached files, and the urgency level the employee selected. A Certified Fraud Examiner reviews the submission within 24 hours and emails you guidance on how to interpret the report and what next steps to consider.
What if I receive a tip about something serious?

Tips marked Urgent by the reporter are flagged for immediate CFE review rather than the standard 24-hour window. For reports indicating ongoing theft, active embezzlement, or evidence that may be at risk of destruction, the CFE guidance will include specific recommended immediate actions — including when to involve law enforcement and how to preserve evidence. Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe. Your portal link remains active until the end of the current billing period. There are no cancellation fees and no long-term commitments on monthly plans. Annual plan refunds are prorated — contact contact@hjbforensics.com with any billing questions.
